French butter cookies, also known as Les Palets by La Mère Poulard, are thick, round French cookies with a cheerfully crumbly consistency and a golden color. These buttery shortbreads come in a brightly colored tin box. Butter biscuits from La Mère Poulard go well with cappuccino, coffee, or even tea.
